Communities of Care: Creating Caring Communities

Under the umbrella of our Diocesan initiative, Communities of Care, Creating Caring Communities (CCC) is a course to enable, enhance and encourage caring Christian communities in which parishes, by parishioners using the skills and information provided in CCC, will develop into communities that offer safe and welcoming spaces for all who gather, whether existing parishioners, newcomers, staff or visitors.

The course covers awareness of what can make people feel included and what excludes, as well as caring skills to encourage people to feel valued and welcome.

Run by trained presenters from this Diocese, the course is ideal for any parish that is seeking to grow and become more welcoming and caring.

Course delivery
Courses can be scheduled for a date and time that suits the parish and the trained presenter in your area. The course is conducted over four sessions of 3-4 hours each week, building awareness and skills and offering participants opportunities to question, debrief and discuss.
