Karl Vaters Seminar 2020

Karl Vaters Seminar

Leading small churches (without settling for less)

Friday 21 February (commencing at 7 pm) and Saturday 22 February 2020 (9 am to 2 pm)
St Paul’s Anglican Church
554 Vulture Street, East Brisbane

“Small churches may be Christianity’s most overlooked, underutlized asset, and they’re multiplying”. Karl Vaters

Hear from international bestselling author, Karl Vaters, as he affirms the value of small-sized churches and explores how small churches can create and nourish their capacity for effective ministry. Karl’s heart is to help leaders of small churches find the resources to lead well, and to capitalise on the unique advantages that come with leading a small church.

Too many priests, pastors, ministers and parishioners labour under the false impression that their church can’t be great until it becomes bigger. Because a church is small doesn’t mean it is broken, lazy, visionless, ingrown, poorly led or theologically faulty. This seminar will challenge perceptions of what successful ministry is and explore how small churches can discover and captialise on their strengths.

This seminar is open to clergy, lay ministers, church workers and anyone interested in church development and leadership.
